• Social Blues Dance Fundamentals (La Pena)

  Duration: 4 hours; $16; Think your soles have something to say about your old soul? Find out during this blues social! You'll be dancing to DJ'd music covering a spectrum of both vintage and modern blues music. That means you get to express the broad range of your musicality while dancing to tunes featuring various tempos and emotions. Because this event tends to draw a host of other blues enthusiasts, it's a great opportunity to let loose while meeting others who share your stirring sensibilities and passion for complex nuance. Prior to the event, you're welcome to take part in a few blues dancing lessons, learning some new gritty moves to unleash on the dance floor. Blue is a good color for you. • Social Blues Dance Fundamentals (Heron)

  Duration: 5 hours; $15; Blues dancing is all about musicality, connection, and having fun! In this Level 1 Rhythms and Social Dance class, you'll have the opportunity to participate in this ever-so-popular style. Dances can range from sensual to sad, from gritty to soulful and beyond. You'll get to hear a variety of vintage and modern blues music to go along with the different dances you'll learn. If you're a beginner, Sundown Blues will teach you the fundamentals you'll need to know before hitting the stage with beaming confidence! Also, if you don't have a partner, you have absolutely nothing to worry about because most classes are actually focused on solo dancing. Come on down and have a good time! Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be gladly given if requested 72 hours in advance.
